Nothing brings out the absurdity that is local T.V. news quite like a snow storm. In the Boston area, no station does silly sensationalism like WHGH Ch. 7. The current snowstorm was described by a 7 news anchor as a “near blizzard event.” Later on, I wonder if they will describe a stabbing as a “near murder event.”
