Chicago is known as the windy city, but Boston truly holds the title. I ride my bike to work a lot and the past few years there have been many days where my time getting to work or home has varied greatly due winds. Yesterday, was one of the more extreme days: Even while peddling hard I barely moved when the wind was in my face, I witnessed decent sized waves on the Charles while riding to work, and  anyone who saw the Sox game last night knows how strong the wind was all day. This led me to due a little research and it turns out Boston is the windiest city. Technically the windiest city in the country is Blue Hill MA followed by Dodge City Kansas; But Boston is by far the biggest city in the top ten.
