It is May sweeps time and that means one thing when it comes to the T.V. news; it is time to scare the shit out of the public in order to get ratings. Whenever it is ratings sweeps time, i.e.,  when the ratings will determine future add revenue, the news programs bring out the stories that make it seem behind ever corner there is some danger lurking for you or your family. My personal favorite that I see reported during sweeps every few years is the black widow spiders that may be living in the grapes you just bought from the supermarket.
