Could Americans Do This?
At the Edmonton Oilers game last night, the man singing the national anthem stopped mid-song, and then let the crowd of nearly 20,000 sing the anthem themselves with kick ass results. I have a feeling that if this was tried at an American arena without a Jumbo-tron showing the lyrics that the majority of the crowd would not be able to sing the Star Spangled Banner.
