The national award goes to Ben Roethlisberger who seriously injured himself today in a motorcycle accident while not wearing a helmet. In the past Roethlisberger has been chewed up by his coach, teammates, and even Terry Bradshaw for not wearing a helmet, but I guess he had to prove he was a badass.

The local award goes to the increasing number of people who I see riding their bikes while talking on their cell phone. Now only do they look ridiculous, but it only a matter a time before some idiot talking on the phone rides into oncoming traffic or veers into the Charles River.
