Wipe the dust off the organ and play Brass Bonanza because the Hartford Whalers… err I mean the Carolina Hurricanes just won the Stanley Cup. They even took Glen Wesley along for the ride. Fortunately, for the Hurricanes they did not need Wesley to shoot the puck into an open net to win the game. Props to Pisani for a great playoff performance for the losing Oilers; He was their main offensive weapon throughout. Which leads me to the question, why did the Oilers who were in need of offense barely give Samsonov any ice time? Overall, it was a great series. I hope that the rating were a little better for the hard hitting and well played game 7 tonight.
