I jinxed myself. Earlier today I posted on the blog that I would ride my bike to work rather then be stuck in traffic on a bus despite the high possibility of an afternoon rainstorm. Well the storm came, but that is not why I jinxed myself. 10 seconds into riding my bike home, I got a flat tire. I ended up walking my bike from Park Street to the nearest Bike shop I knew of near BU on Commonwealth Ave to get my tire fixed; I gave the repair guy a 10 dollar tip since he fixed my bike on the spot: 15 dollars to fix the tire with a 10 dollar tip, taking over an hour and half to get home, and getting completely soaked, and I still say it beats sitting in traffic.
