Ever since he was brought back to Cuba, Elian Gonzales has been used as a propaganda prop for Fidel’s regime. Does anyone else think it would be simultaneously hilarious and Shakespearian if Elian Gonzales during a live joint appearance with Fidel, pulled out a knife, killed Fidel by stabbing him in the back, turned to the camera, and proclaimed himself the new dictator of Cuba? What? You say Teddy I don’t find that hilarious at all… then lets move on then; In case Elian does not get to Castro, I still say it is only a matter of time till either the Yankees or Red Sox try a hostile take over of Cuba in order to tap the nation’s baseball talent. You have to hand it to Fidel though… he outlasted former Bruins President Harry Sinden to still retain the title of world’s longest ruling autocrat. If and when the United States closes down the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp, are we going to send the prisoners back to Afghanistan or do the less costly and far funnier option and release the former Guantanamo prisoners into the Cuban population?
