NFL Season Predictions

Before I make my division and playoff predictions here are few thoughts on the most interesting storylines of the 2006/07 football season. Locally, I find the Pats offense intriguing. They have a young talented offensive line who will give Brady time to throw, but without Branch Brady lacks a number one wide receiver. On the other hand, the Pats seem to have an abundance of versatile talent at both the tight end and running back position. I think the offense has a lot of potential for interesting formations and trick plays. The other issue that will greatly affect the AFC playoff picture is if Carson Palmer and Big Ben can come back from their injuries to lead their teams. Will Payton Manning finally be able to lead his team, or will he continue to look like a talented little leaguer who tries too hard and fails when his dad is in the stands? Will Drew Bledsoe need to take psychology classes in order to keep troubled and talented receivers Terry Glenn and T.O. on the field? Will the Jets and Raiders manage to win a game? Which team will have more arrests by the end of the year, the Vikings or the Bengals? Will Michael Vick finally live up to his potential or will be on the rode to the CFL by years end?
