First off, it sucks that the Sox season turned into a disaster because if the Sox/Yankees games mattered today, with a Pats/Jets game sandwiched in-between we could have had a classic sports day; As for the Pats they managed to Escape From New York with a win today. Overall I think the defense played really well. After the Pats got up 24-0 however, the defense got lackadaisical and sloppy which led to the Jets comeback. The many-headed tight end/running back hydra attack had another impressive game. Brady, however still just does not look comfortable. Earlier in the week, he admitted the Branch situation affected him and it looks like it still is. Hopefully, he just needs to get on the same page with the new receiving corps. As for the new guys, Chad Jackson looked great at times but did have one key drop. Doug Gabriel looked sluggish and unimpressive to me, but it is still early so I am not writing him off yet.
