Mitt Romney announced that he will allow minimally intrusive searches and tests of people’s bags on the subway in search of explosive materials and the like. I am going to save Mitt and the bag police some time; here is what they are most likely to find in my bookbag:  a mead 5 subject notebook, a walkman, a sociological statistics book, 2 books about correctional institutions, a locker lock, 2 moldy tic tacs stuck to a moldy cough drop, beach sand, a couple of folders one with class papers and the other with Pre-K lesson plans, a key that does not go to anywhere, and the soul of a French soldier from the 100 years war.
