A Hypothetical About China And North Korea

I am not claiming like anything like this would happen, but lets just say that China went to the UN and stated that China was planning to attack N. Korea because they posed a danger to China and the world; in addition, China pointed out that N. Korea alleged nuclear tests were in direct opposition to the UN and the UN would lose its significance if it did not enforce its resolutions. Would the United States back China on its endeavor to use military power to enforce UN resolution and change N. Korea regime?

Huh? All China has to do is stop supplying Kim Jong Il with oil, and he's cooked.

They can easily resolve this NK issue without military action -- they just aren't inclined to make it easy on the US (not to mention aren't thrilled with the potential flood of refugees across the border.)

I know JB, I was trying to make a subtle dig at the Bush administration but admittedly was too subtle. The joke was that what if China justified invasion of N. Korea using the exact same logic and reasoning that we used to justify attacking Iraq? How would the US feel about the logic then?
