I Bought A House! (With Pictures)
As some of my readers might already know, I recently purchased a 2 family house in the central part of H20town.* (*Double Note: by I, I of course am referring to myself and my siblings since I certainly don’t have the means to buy a home by myself and by central part of town, I mean the west part of town, but as someone who grew up on the east side I cant bring myself to say I bought a house on the west side.) Now back to the house. I would like to thank our real estate agent from Remax Daniel Gorfinkle (617 244 4499) who did a great job helping us find a house that fit our needs. While there are many obvious benefits to owning a home, I would like to talk about one that is rarely discussed; it adds a new phrase to my repertoire that I can start a sentence off with when making a political argument. Prior to buying a house, here are some of the ways that I could start a sentence while making a political point. If I was commenting on education I could start the sentence by saying “as a teacher, I believe.” When commenting on immigration I may have started a sentence saying “as the son of immigrants, I think.” Now that I am home owner, when commenting on property taxes, the school system, or rental markets I can start off all my sentences with “as a homeowner, I feel.”
Below are a few pics of the House. Normally, I might be somewhat anxious about posting a picture of where I live on what George Bush calls the internets, but thankfully there are literally 25 houses within a block or two of mine that look exactly like it so if any psycho want to find me, I can rest easy knowing it will take them a while.
