Quarterback Controversy

There are few things that get the sports world talking like a good quarterback controversy. The range of a QB controversy’s  reach is evident by the fact that when I turned on WEEI this morning the main discussion what not about the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, or the World Series, but about the Romo vs. Bledsoe controversy way out in Dallas. Personally I feel bad for Bledsoe since he has always seemed like a really good guy, and he may go down in history as one of the few people who has been the man replaced in 2 different quarterback controversies. However, I predict that we have yet to see the last of Bledsoe’s QB days in Dallas. Romo is no Brady; as evident by his 3 interceptions last week and when cooler heads prevail after a few weeks, I see Parcells going back to Bledsoe down the stretch. On a side note, it should be mentioned that Parcells may have been involved in the quarterback controvery that featured the least talent when he had to choose between Rick Mirer and Ray Lucas for the Jets in 99.
