New Low For Bruins

It could have been a statement game. The Bruins were up 4-1 with less then 9 minutes to go against the Buffalo Sabers who have the best record in Hockey and had yet to lose a game in regulation. It could have shown the home crowd fans that despite a mediocre first few weeks of play, the Bruins were not going to be a huge joke. In the last 9 minutes of regulation through sloppy play in their own end the Bruins managed to squander any potential good will they built up in the first 2 and a half periods when they blew a 3 goal lead. Buffalo winning the shoot out was a forgone conclusion with their far superior individual scoring talent. In the end the Bruins actually get a point for their effort tonight, but that is like saying at least I get to keep my old couch even though I am losing my entire house.
