I consider myself a somewhat educated reasonably normal 21^st Century male. So why do I think it kicks as that Saddam Hussein is being hanged? Is there some sort of primordial blood lust that is present in all people that lethal injection just does not satisfy? Or is it my old fashion romanticism is somehow presenting itself in the unromantic realm of execution that makes me glad that Saddam is going to go the old fashion way. Or maybe I am just a sick bastard? Either way, to paraphrase Grandpa Simpson “it’s a good old fashion hanging, and by gone it’s been a while.”
