Boston Sports 1/3 on the Night
The BC Eagles, who had the potential to grab the areas imagination with a clear path to the Orange Bowl, pulled the classic BC loss tonight. Whenever it looks like BC football or basketball for that matter is going to gain a lot of attention, they end up losing a game like tonight’s match up with Wake Forest to allow the Boston Sporting Public to go continue in their normal state of not giving a shit about college sports.
The Celtics lost again tonight and are now 0-3. The C’s defense is not playing at a level that could stop a J.V. high school team so far this year; thus, the icy sword of Damocles is inching closer and closer to ending Doc Rivers’ tenure as Celtics coach.
Now let’s looks at the one positive of the night, the Bruins who got a victory against a decent team for the home crowd. Even more shockingly they did it in overtime which has not exactly been kind to the B’s since the end of the lock out. With their scoring lines showing more punch, if the Bruins get some consistent goal tending they might have a shot at the playoffs.
In the end, all three of tonight’s games were merely under-cards matches to tide Boston Sports fans till tomorrow’s main event: Brady vs. Manning
