Here are some quick hits on tonight’s frustrating loss for the Patriots:

• Congratulations to Troy Brown for getting the Pats reception record. The taunting call on him was one of the silliest calls all year.
• Rodney Harrison being injured in the first quarter did not help the Pats cause in the slightest.
• Marvin Harrison TD Catch in the third quarter where he tipped the ball to himself, held the ball, and kept his feet in bounds was one the best catch I have seen all year.
• While I admit Manning made a lot of great throws, the Pats defensive backs did not turn around at all on all those passes that Manning completed when he purposely under threw his receivers and the Pats D-backs were caught napping.
• Brady forced too many balls deep today that resulted in interceptions.
• The receivers did not get enough separation for Brady during parts of the night and they dropped a few screen passes.
• Kevin Faulk needs to catch that fucking ball. With the emergence of Maroney, Faulk will get cut this off-season.
• Both Gostkowski and Vinatieri showed how hard it is to kick in Foxboro tonight.
• The Dillon Fumble just annoyed me
• I think Brady got the first down on that sneak at the end of the first half.
• The Colvin late hit call was bullshit because the whistle had not blown.
• The Pats not scoring on that first drive was huge; I don’t have the stats off the top of my head, but when the Pats score first then their winning percentage is a lot higher.
