Many pundits tonight compared Deval Patrick’s speech to Bill Clinton’s typically well written, crowd connecting, and slick speeches. Indeed, the politician Patrick is most compared to is the former president. However, there a few key differences between Deval Patrick and Bill Clinton; Clinton is more of a political pragmatist. Second, Deval lets just say has not had any issues with young women unlike the former president. While Bill Clinton has even called himself the first Black President, Deval actually is only the second Black governor elected in the United States in the countries history.
