Hollywood’s Makeshift Boston Trailer Park (with pictures)

For the past few weeks, I have had to navigate around film crews to get to work. As many of you already may know, the movie The Game Plan staring Dwayne Johnson A.K.A. The Rock has been filming in Boston and at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. (that’s one of the reasons the field at Gillette Stadium was so messed up earlier in the year) In Boston, most of the filming has occurred around the area of the Transportation Building, The Alley, The Josiah Quincy School, and Chinatown. Though the movie will most likely be formulaic crap about a football player who plays for the fictional Boston Rebels and finds out he has a 7 year old daughter, it is still cool whenever a film is shot in Boston. While I have not yet gotten to see The Rock myself (nor do I really care to see him), a student in my class did get her picture taken with him and I am always on the look out for a glimpse of hottie Roselyn Sanchez who is also starring in the film. Here are a few pictures I have taken of the production. The first pic is from a window at work overlooking the trailers set up for the movie. The second pic is of some people mingling around the scene set up at the new condos across from the Cold Stone entrance of the Transportation building. Both of the pics were taken using a camera phone so the quality is not great.
