Here are some thoughts about the Patriots solid win against the Packers today.

• For some reason the play in the first quarter where Brett Favre tried to hand it off to a running back who was not there reminded me of a football video game glitch play.
• I loved the call going for the T.D. on fourth and inches at the one in the first quarter.
• The T.D. to Caldwell was the first true Bomb the Pats have completed all season

• Did anyone else think at half time that Brett Favre probably downed a bottle of Jack and a cup full of painkillers and then asked to go back in the game?

• Maroney looked great today especially when he broke some random Packer’s ankles and then ran  for the T.D. 
• Speaking of Maroney, I think the new field will benefit him more then anyone at The Razor next week.
• Brady played great today and his pass to Watson in the end zone was his best pass all year.
• Troy Brown is the man: Four catches and solid play as a nickel-back.
• A Vinny sighting: As a way to make extra money the Patriots should have some fantasy cooperate league where companies and groups of people pay to form football teams where Vinny is the QB of one team and Flutie is the QB of the other team.
