Pats’ Win Bruising Game vs. Bears

  • Samuel was the player of the game today with his 3 interceptions off the fraud QB Rex Grossman.
  • Why do I call Grossman a fraud? Maybe it is because he consistently throws terrible passes and was repeatedly bailed out by the referees with 3 bullshit pass interference calls that were all incidental contact.
  • The first quarter looked like the teams were playing hot potato with the football.
  • Seymour had a big game with a blocked field goal, fumble recovery, and a sack.
  • Dillon and Maroney both need to make sure they put 2 hands on the ball against a team like the Bears that always goes for the ball.
  • Speaking of Maroney, unlike Dillon he did have a few key runs and runs after the catch.
  • Chad Jackson needs to dive (or at least take the correct route) for that ball that could have been a TD on the 3rd and 11 play in the 2nd quarter.
  • Caldwell should have fallen down after catching the tipped ball off Watson. Instead he fumbled again. In addition, Caldwell would have had 15 yards at the very least if he kept the ball in that failed double reverse. However, Caldwell redeemed himself with 2 big catches on what should have been the game ending final drive if Dillon could have held on to the ball.
  • In that scrum near the end of the game it looked like all the linemen on both teams were fighting using the E:Honda hundred hand slap technique.
  • The Play of the Game: 3rd and 9 in the fourth quarter. Brady runs for a first down and puts a move on Urlacher. The 2 best players on the field mono a mono and Brady won the battle and the game.
