While it is laughable saying this because both teams where 5-8, the Celtics vs. Nets game tonight was a battle for first place. The Celtics had blown a big lead down the stretch and where trailing by 3 points with the ball for the final shot. What transpired after that may have been the worst play ever. It featured 2 passes to no one in particular, Wally passing up the game tying Hail Mary 3 pointer attempt, and then Wally inexplicably dribbling closer to the basket before just tossing the ball out of bounds. Wow.
