A few weeks back I was listening to WEEI and heard Steve Buckley doing his usually self promoting stick and talking about his upcoming book The Best Boston Sports Arguments that he is writing with Jim Caple. Well today I got an email from the publisher asking if I wanted a free copy of the book to review for my blog. Since free stuff is free stuff, I said yes; to tell the truth, I would not put Buckley any where near the top of the sports writer pantheon in Boston with Ryan and Shaughnessy and he is not as an effective provocateur as a Callaghan. However, I will give him and Caple a shot and let you know how the book is after I read it.
