With the change of the New Year we got the new Charlie Card system, fare increases, and less reported new bus schedules. Some of the new bus schedules have a yellow star and yellow font with the route number that touts improved service on that route. One of those is the 57 bus. However, looking at the 57 schedule I can’t see what is all that different about it. I do find the maps on the back of the new bus schedules to be more detailed with a better overall quality. The thing about the new schedules that jumps out at you is it appears the T has selected a new face. On the cover of the new bus schedules is one of the bus drivers; I wish I knew his name, but I have had him quite a few times as a bus driver on the 502 and he is one of the better ones. Thus, I think he is a pretty good choice to represent the T. Without further wait, here is the man who is the new face of the T:
