Pictures: Swans On The Charles River

I woke up today feeling generally better after being sick for the first time in years. (The classroom full of four and five year old germ factories that I work with finally got me) Combined that with the fact the temperature was reasonably warm for a winter day, it was beautifully sunny, and I had a couple of hours to kill before Demos Restaurant opened so I could get lunch led me to go for a run along the Charles River armed with my digital camera in case I saw anything good. I was hoping to see one of those cardinals that I never see when I have my camera. In the end, I was unable to see any cardinals, but I was able to see a flock of swans. (I am not sure how many swans technically constitute a flock, but I saw 6 so I call that a flock) They were chillin in the unfrozen parts of the river near off of the Charles River Road Bike Path in Watertown MA.
