Harvard Station Bus Tunnel Of Mystery

While coming home from UMass tonight, I waited in the Harvard Station bus tunnel like I have thousands of time in my life for the 71 bus to come. As any frequent rider or the T knows, bus schedules are never very reliable so you are never sure when your bus will come. When waiting for the 71 at Harvard Station, there is a familiar pattern: First you hear the rumbling of a bus arriving over head. The rumble fades for a few seconds before it gets louder and begins to emanate from the tunnel on your level. Around this time you feel the ping of hope that comes with the possibility that your bus has finally arrived; but alas, out from the Harvard Bus Tunnel Of Mystery another 73 to Waverly Avenue and you continue to wait. Eventually, after a few more false positives, the 71 does emerge from The Harvard Bus Tunnel Of Mystery much to the relief of the people waiting. Below is a picture of the Harvard Bus Tunnel Of Mystery in all its glory.
