It looks like the Smashing Pumpkins are reuniting to go on tour some time this year. I humbly suggestion that they partner up on a bill with My Chemical Romance and The Silversun Pickups. Both The Pickups and Romance owe a lot to the Pumpkins but from different points in their career. The SilverSun Pickups sound like the Pumpkins (if Billy Corgan had a girlish voice) during the Pumpkins Gish and Siamese Dream error. My Chemical Romance on the other hand owes a lot to the Pumpkin’s Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness. It would be a good line up to have the Pickups go on first, followed by MCR, and The Pumpkins closing the deal.
