Matsuzaka’s loss tonight was reminiscent of Pedro losses from the past. Dice K gave up his runs after a strike 3 that was not called strike 3, a swinging bunt that was wrongly called safe, and a Lugo error that was not called an error. Sure Matsuzaka got flustered, who would not after that sequence of events. Add in the classic fat ass lefty (Chacin) who the Red Sox historically have a hard time hitting and you have a Pedroesque tough luck loss for Matsuzaka. The Japanese must think the Sox have an anemic offense.
