In yesterdays latest thrashing of the Angels, Julio Lugo made 2 sweet over the shoulder catches on shallow pop ups into the outfield. There was a Globe article today about who is the best at that play. Some said Jeter was the best they had seen and others went with Alex Gonzales. However, I would have to go with the much maligned Jose Offerman who consistently made spectacular over the shoulder plays when he was here.
