I fear in the non-stop media coverage of the Virginia Tech massacre we are laying the foundation of a similar event. I know people want as much information as possible about the killer, but I think airing those pictures and discussing his manifesto makes Cho a folk hero for the potential school shooter set much like Harris and Klebold may have served as the template for Cho. If you don’t think that living in media infamy and getting their twisted thoughts to the masses motivates people like Cho, then why did he go out of his way to send the package to NBC?
