Pictures: White Geese/Dog Chase on the Charles River

One of the missteps that people who partake in any form of environmental advocacy often make is that they focus too much on current problems and fail to give examples of tangible results. In that vain, I give you the Charles River. When I was young, the river always smelled and you would barely see any life aside from the occasional duck.  Today, after years of clean up, the river is teeming with interesting wild life. Case in point, these kick ass White Geese (pictures below) I saw on my bike ride to work this morning or the ever present Canadian Geese which can be seen in the last picture being chased by a dog.
