What Kind Of Turtle Is This? (Pics Near The Charles)
So I was riding my bike this morning to work along the Charles River as usual, when I saw quite the usually site; A turtle was just chilling near the bike path. (3 Pictures Below) Upon further inspection it was sitting in place and moving some sand around with its front legs. As many of you may know, I am an expert when it comes to turtles. Unfortunately the type of turtles that I am an expert on are the ones that fight Shredder and hang around with April O'Neil. Thus, I am pretty sure what I saw today was a snapping turtle, but I have been wrong when trying to identify types of animals before so I was wondering if anyone who knows more about real turtles knew for sure what type of turtle this is?

I have seen this turtle many a times..:), at discovery channel, it lives in the water.. i thought so. But.. how it was able to walk on the road. The channel never explain(or i missed the explaination..lol) that it can stay alive on land as well.
