It is being reported No. 5 pick, Wally Szczerbiak, and Delonte West to Seattle for Ray Allen (of He Got Game fame). Even at the age of 32, Allen is a proven consistent scorer who along with Pierce/Jefferson will provide a formidable offensive attack. If the deal is only for Allen though, I think the Celtics gave up too much. However, it is being reported by WEEI that 7 foot center Robert Swift may be part of the deal. While I am usually leery of 7 foot white guys who have already had injuries, Swift is intriguing with his young age as a corner stone down low with Jefferson. If Swift is actually in the deal, then I am all for it.
