The first Die Hard is the action movie that all others since have been compared to. How does the fourth installment of the franchise stack up compared to the first? It is not nearly as good and the tone is different. At times Live Free Or Die Hard is just silly. However, unlike Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer, Bruce Willis' John McClain seems to be in on the silliness around  him and has fun with it. Thus the movie is still entertaining summer fare. Overall Grade: B
