Dice-K Live
- Tonight was the first time I got to see Matsuzaka pitch live. Here are a few thoughts on the night:
- After all the hype and the up/down start, Dice-K seems have settled into a grove and has allowed 2 runs or less in 5 straight starts. Furthermore, tonight and his last start may have been the 2 best of his MLB career.
- Memo to parents who bring their children to bleacher seats. Expect that your kids will hear a few choice words and don't make a big deal out of it. Sitting in the Fenway bleachers and all that goes along with that is a right of passage for childhood in this area.
- Since the team is winning, Lugo is not a goat with the fans but a sympathetic comedic sub-plot.
- I found it funny that Pedroia went with Snoop for his intro song.
- Even when you are sitting in row 39 of the bleachers which is nearly as far as way as possible at Fenway, (picture at end of post) you still have a pretty good view of the game.
