After 18 years, Dan Patrick is leaving ESPN. Along with Keith Olbermann, Patrick made up my favorite Sportscenter team of all time. It looks like Patrick may be following Olbermann's footsteps and going into "hard news." However, just like Olbermann, if I see Patrick reporting on Iraq, presidential politics, or any other serious matter, I will always be expecting him to smirk and come in with a one liner no matter how serious or tense the topic is.
