My Final Harry Potter Predictions
Well considering my Sopranos predictions where completely off the mark, I thought I would try again and take a shot some predictions; this time regarding the end of the Harry Potter series. As I understand it, the book has already leaked, but so far I have steered clear of any potential spoilers. Here are some predictions some of which I came up with myself and a few are predictions other bloggers came up with that I agree with. In that latter case, I will give the link to the originator of the predictions.
1.The first scene of the book will be Voldemort killing Draco Malfoy.
2.Harry will inherit Fawkes and the Dumbledore’s pensive (in the pensive Harry will find even more key info about his parents and you know who.
3.We will learn that Snape and Harry’s mom Lilly where partners in potions class and Snape had a crush on her. This is one of the reasons Dumbledore knows Snape is on The Order’s side. Snape still feels guilty about contributing to her death. However, Snape still does not like James (who teased Snape) and thus always had it out for Harry (who looks like James) when they were in school.
4.The other reasons Snape is loyal to Dumbledore is Dumbledore helped protect Snape’s mom who is Hogwarts’ Librarian Irma Pince (anagram: I am prince) (http://whysnape.tripod.com/hbp/pince.htm)
5.Aunt Petunia had her natural magical powers taken away by Dumbledore at her request and Dudley has some magic powers as well.
6.Neville will kill Beatrix Lestrange, create a potion that helps Harry find a Horcrux, and will eventually teach portions at Hogwarts.
7.Ron and Hermione finally hook up. (Though Victor Krum will be back and still have a thing for Hermione)
8.2 member of the Weasley clan (not Ron) will die heroically.
9.There has been a lot of The Greek Classics in Harry Potter so far; one of the major set ups from classical stories that we have yet to see in Harry Potter is a trip to the underworld ala Odysseus heading down The River Styx. In Harry Potter, The River Styx is the veil in the department of mysteries that Sirius passes through. Look for Harry to pass through there and commune with some dead characters.
10.Harry is the final Horcrux and will get killed by Lord Voldemort which will destroy the Horcrux inside Harry.
11.What Voldemort does not know however, is that by using Harry’s blood to resurrect himself, he transferred a portion of Harry’s soul to him and now in essence is a Horcrux for Harry. Snape, Ginny and Ron Weasley, and Hermione will come up with a spell that will transfer the piece of Harry’s soul that is inside Voldemort back to Harry’s body.
12.Harry then kills Voldemort once and for all.
