I hope the Sox trade Wily Mo Pena before the trade deadline. (Only 4 days away) This is not because I dislike Wily Mo Pena; in fact, it is the opposite. I was hoping the Sox would platoon Wily Mo and Trot this year instead of going after Drew. However, that did not happen so there is no spot for Wily Mo in Boston with the team’s combination of high priced veteran outfielders and young outfield prospects: Jacoby Ellsbury,David Murphy, &  Brandon Moss. While he has looked awful at times this year, I still think if he played full time Wily Mo could hit .250 with at least 30HR. Many of those HR will sure to be moon shots. Thus, I hope the Sox set Wily Mo free so he can extend his Herculean arms to crush baseballs and give some entertainment to a beleaguered franchise like the Royals.
