Today is the 10 year anniversary of Dan Duquette’s greatest achievement and one of the best trades in Red Sox history: Heathcliff Slocumb for Jason Varitek and Derek Lowe. If it was not for that trade, the Sox would not have been competitive for the past 10 years or won the World Series in 04.
