Happy To Give Them My $$$$: The Simpsons Movie Review
The Simpsons have entertained me more then any other series of books, movies, and comics, cartoons, or televisions shows. I am constantly quoting episodes and sometimes I will be walking down the street and just start laughing like a crazy person when thinking about a Simpson’s episode. On the other hand, it is no secret that the Simpsons have of the past 3 or 4 years have not been up to par with the classic Simpsons episodes. (Mediocre Simpsons is still better then 98% then everything else in the history of televisions) The Simpson movie plays like a Simpson episode from the past few years with the occasional line scene that is classic Simpsons caliber. In fact, the movie is a reworking of the plot line of about 5 other Simpsons episodes: I would give too much of the plot away, but at the start of the movie, Homer informs us that we are all suckers for paying for something that we can watch on T.V. for free. In the case of the Simpsons, the price of a movie ticket is just a small pay back to Matt Groening and Co for the countless hours of witty entertainment they have provided. Overall Movie Grade: B-

One of the best laughs I have in a movie.
