Then Micheal Vick might have a place to play when he gets out of jail in a year or two. There is no way and NFL or even the Arena League or CFL are going to touch him. Some will say people have done worse and got forgiven in this country, but those people did not mess with dogs. I honestly believe Vick would be less or a public pariah if he shot some guy in a club vs systematically torturing and killing dogs. Though dog ownership in not uniquely American, I think the family dog is # 1 symbol of Americana; even more then apple pie and all that other jazz.
