A few thoughts about Cleveland's ass kicking of the Yankees today. I found it interesting and when I say interesting I mean stupid that Yankees used one of their best arms in Hughes for 2 innings of mop up duty. Wang left a ton of pitches up in the zone. Even though he racks up the regular season wins, Wang even at his best has #2 stuff and is not an ace. As I watched today's game, I had the thought that Kenny Lofton is always in the fucking playoffs. While he has not been in it every year of his career, it is pretty damn close. Check it out:  in 95 and 96 it was Cleveland, then 97 Atlanta, then 98, 99, & 01 Cleveland again, 02 the Giants, 03 the Cubs, 04 The Yankees, 06 Dodgers, 07 Cleveland again. From 95 to 2007 the only 2 years he missed the playoffs where 05 and 00. In addition, Lofton is one of the few people to compete in both MTV's Rock and Jock baseball and Rock and Jock basketball back in the day.
