Thats a lead that even Gagne could not blow. I never had a doubt we where going to win that game. Schilling was hitting his spots (and getting the calls from the ump) the entire night. Weaver has some pretty good stuff, but it is hard to get scared of a guy who has the hair style that an 8 year old girl would have had in 1981. Ortiz hit .714 in this series. All that can be said about that is wow. The fact that Darren Oliver who sucked for the Sox in 02 is still in baseball and pitching in the postseason amazes me.
