•That should have been a shut out tonight because that ball did not hit Tavarez in the first inning. Tavarez acting when he pretended it hit him was the worst acting performance I've seen by a baseball player since Barry Bonds guest spot on 90210 golfing with Ian Ziering
•Was JD playing possum all year or something? Again he comes up big tonight with 2 hits and reaching base 4 times. Hell he even showed toughness which has been his biggest knock over his career when he stayed in the game after taking that ball off his ankle.
•Schilling did not have his best stuff tonight but he did a good job changing speeds and keeping the Colorado batters off balance when he needed to.
•Okajima was the best signing in all of baseball last off-season. He came in and saved Schilling in the 5th and then continued to pitch another kick ass inning and a third. The guy is amazing.
•Anyone else notice that the bull pen band had a Navajo drum beat thing going when Ellsbury was at the plate.
•All I have to say to Matt Holliday is HA HA!
•Papelbon again with the death stare was amazing in the 9th.
•It was not just a great night for the Sox tonight. The Bruins won and Kessel had 2 amazing highlight real goals. Plus, Chara beat the living shit out of Koci and left his face covered with blood. Good Times!
•We were flipping to the BC game during the Sox commercial breaks and B.C. looked dead for almost the entire night. Then, I could not believe my eyes B.C. had taken the lead in the last 2 minutes to keep their national title hopes alive. Holy Shit!
