Casting My Ballot

For the first 5 years that I voted, I went to my old Elementary School stomping grounds the Hosmer School to vote which was always an eerie experience; especially, walking past the old caf which looks so tiny though it in my mind it is longer then 10 football fields. With my move last year, now I must cast my ballot at the Cunniff Elementary School on the other side of town. I have obviously been to the Hosmer School before and I have also been inside the Lowell, The Old Browne/Atrium School, The old Coolidge School, The Phillips School, and even the old Parker School, but this was the first time in my life I entered the Cunniff. I literally arrived a minute before the polls closed at 7:59 and was the second to last person to cast a ballot; My sister was the last. It took me about 15 seconds to cast my ballot since I only voted for 2 people on my entire ballot. (if you know me well enough, you can probably guess who) Being the nerd that I am, I enjoyed voting as always. As for seeing the inside of the Cunniff, all I can say is that I am glad I went to the Hosmer.
