Belichick Gets Ultimate Compliment

You know you have made your mark in life when people start using your name as a touchstone to describe something or someone else. Something like that is reserved for people like Machiavelli (Machiavellian), Kennedy (Kennedyesque), Reagan (Reaganesque), George Orwell (Orwellian), Nixon (Nixonian) et. al. Now Bill Belichick is in that company. Here is what Matt Taibbi wrote on page 52 in this week's Rolling Stone in an article called the The Battle For Iowa: "Hillary's almost Belichickian level of smugness"
Who new when Belichick had his infamous press conference where he turned down the job of "HC of the NY Jets" that he was starting a chain of events that would eventually lead to him becoming a figure that transcends sports?
