*Note, though I try to listen to as much new stuff as possible over the course of the year, I fully admit there are probably a lot of good albums that should be on this list but are not.. A classic example of this from last year is the Silversun Pickups. Their album which came out last year was not in my 2006 list, but now that I have heard it, it should have been in the top 10 on my list last year.
