Channel Surfing: Bruins, Celtics, Wisconsin Primary Results

Here are a few thoughts on the 3 things I was watching tonight.
  1. The Bruins nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by playing a sloppy last 2 minutes of the game and losing a 2 goal lead. They did manage to play to a stalemate in OT and then win the shootout . Kessel is a joy to watch in shout outs. While I am not a big fan of going 5-hole, he pulls it off better then most people because his quickness forces the goalie to try to move along with him.
  2. I pointed out back on Jan 9th in this blog that Obama was using part of Deval Patrick's stump speech. I am glad that tonights Wisconsin primary results will most likely put that silly issue on the back burner. The next silly issue is going to be whether or not Obama used bad manners by cutting into Clinton's speech. Obama can easily side step that issue by saying that he did not want to keep his thousands of supporters waiting to long. It should be pointed out that Obama gave one of his longer speeches tonight; while much of the speech was heard before, it was slightly more specific policy wise.
  3. Last but not least the Celtics lost in Denver tonight which was no big deal. KG did not play that much and it is just one of those games on the schedule that you are designed for a loss. On a side note, Kevin Martin along with Jason Kidd continue to be the players in the NBA I hate the most.
