Are The Bruins Teasing Again, Or Is This For Real?

The Bruins have not won a cup since 1972 and have not really performed well in the post-season since Cam Neely, Ray Bourque, and Adam Oates where on the ice. They had some good teams during the Jason Allison and Joe Thornton eras, but those teams had a habit of losing to a lesser team in the post-season. Now the current incarnation of the B's are playing great. They have won 6 straight to move into 6th place in the Eastern Conference. They may be teasing us again and setting us up for either missing the playoffs down the stretch or another bad first round loss. I however, have more faith in this year team and a lot of the credit has to go to coach Claude Julien who has had the team playing stronger team defense then in years past. The team still does not have enough scoring punch, but  the return of Murray is giving them more of a threat. In addition, the signing of Marc Savard who is putting up numbers like the aforementioned Adam Oates and leading the league in assists has proved to be just a big of signing (maybe not literally) as Chara. It makes me almost sick to say it with fucking Jacobs still owning the team, but I feel pretty good about where the Bruins are right now and I don't think I have been able to say that in a really long time.
